What we clear off a job
Kitchen and bathroom fitters, small builders, landscapers, DIY renovators — if it came out of a strip-out or a build, it goes on the truck. One load or a standing arrangement, your call.
Rubble & hardcore
Broken brick, concrete, tiles, mortar and dug-out spoil. Dense material that hits the truck's weight limit long before it fills it — so it's quoted on the day from your photos, with the weight reality made plain up front, never bolted on after.
Timber & offcuts
Stud, joists, skirting, floorboards, pallets and packaging from first and second fix. Bulky but light — it fills the truck fast, which usually makes it good value by the load.
Plasterboard
Offcuts and full sheets from a board-out or a ceiling strip. Plasterboard has to be kept separate at the permitted site — we handle that segregation, so you don't need to sort it or run a second trip for it.
Strip-out units
Old kitchen carcasses and worktops, ripped-out bathroom suites, tiling, laminate and the general muck of a rip-and-replace — taken away in one hit so the space is clear for the fit.
Weight matters as much as volume — and we'll say so
Builders' waste is the one place where a full-looking truck isn't the whole story. Dense loads are the honest exception to a purely volume-based price, so here's exactly how we handle it — no surprises on the day.
- The 3.5-tonne tipper has a weight limit. Soil, rubble, tiles and mortar are heavy enough to max that limit while the truck still looks half empty. That's physics, not small print — so dense loads are photo-quoted with the weight factored in, not priced on volume alone.
- Send photos and rough quantities. A picture of the pile plus a line like "about twenty rubble bags" or "a bathroom's worth of tiles" lets us price it right first time. The more we know before we set off, the tighter the number.
- You'll always know before we start. If a load is heavy enough to be priced differently to a light one, we tell you that when we quote — never after it's on the truck. No hidden weight charge lands at the end of the job.
Very heavy single-material loads — a full tipper of concrete or spoil — can hit the weight limit before a full load's worth of volume. If that's your job, tell us the material and rough amount and we'll quote it straight, or point you to the right option if a grab lorry suits it better.
How much of the truck will your waste fill?
We price by how much of the tipper your waste takes up. Off a job that usually reads as: a quarter for a few bags of offcuts or a single-room strip, a half for a bathroom strip-out or a shed's worth, three-quarters for a full kitchen rip-out, a full load for a whole renovation's waste in one hit. The number itself is confirmed from your photos, with the weight note above applied to dense loads before we start.
Labour, disposal and the waste transfer note are all included. Nothing to pay yet — we open in mid-October 2026. From launch, you pay in full when you accept the quote, and that’s what holds your slot, with nothing more to pay on the day. A small fuel charge applies beyond 10 miles from our Newport base — always included in the quote you're given, never added on later.
Plasterboard? We handle the segregation
Plasterboard has to be kept separate at the permitted site — it can't go in with mixed general waste. That's standard practice, and it's our job, not yours. Bag it or pile it with the rest and we'll sort the separation at our end, so a board-out or a ceiling strip doesn't mean a second trip or a load turned away at the gate.
What we can take — and what we can't
Almost all trade and construction waste is fine. A short list sits outside a standard waste carrier licence, and we won't touch it — for your safety and ours.

- Timber, offcuts, stud, floorboards and pallets
- Old kitchen units, worktops and bathroom suites
- Soil and dug-out spoil (priced with weight in mind)

We don't take
- Asbestos of any kind — old garage, outbuilding and soffit boards especially. If we suspect it, we stop and point you to a licensed specialist.
- Gas bottles and cylinders
- Paint tins, solvents, oil and chemicals
- Clinical or sharps waste
- Anything else classed as hazardous or needing a consignment note
This list keeps every load inside our waste carrier licence. We'd rather turn a job down than cut a corner on it.

Every load ends with a waste transfer note. It's your legal duty-of-care record that your trade waste was carried by a registered waste carrier and taken to a permitted site — issued on completion, alongside before-and-after photos, and kept on file for your own compliance records.
Builders' waste questions
How is a heavy load like rubble priced?
Dense material — rubble, soil, tiles, mortar — hits the truck's weight limit long before it fills the space, so it's quoted with the weight in mind, not on volume alone. Send a photo and a rough amount (say "twenty rubble bags") and we'll give you a straight number before we set off. There's no hidden weight surcharge added at the end — if a load is priced as a heavy one, you'll know when you get the quote.
Do you take plasterboard?
Yes. Plasterboard has to be kept separate from general waste at the permitted site — that's standard UK practice — and we handle that segregation for you. You don't need to sort it out on the job or arrange a separate collection for it; pile it with the rest and we'll separate it at our end.
Can I set up a standing trade account?
Yes — if you're generating waste off site regularly, a standing arrangement beats a one-off call every time. Tell us roughly how often you fill a load and we'll plan a recurring slot around your work, with a waste transfer note issued each time for your records.
Is there anything you won't take?
Yes — asbestos (common in old garage roofs and soffit boards), gas bottles, paint tins, solvents, oil and other hazardous waste all sit outside a standard waste carrier licence. If we suspect asbestos we'll stop and point you to a licensed specialist rather than risk it. Everything else on a normal build or strip-out is fine.
What areas do you cover?
Newport and around 30 miles around our NP20 base, covering Gwent and into Cardiff. A small fuel charge applies beyond 10 miles from base and is always included in your quote. If your site is near the edge of that, send the postcode and we'll confirm before anything's booked.
